Subjects and school years
Request primary-school literacy and numeracy, Years 7–10 Maths, English and Science, or Years 11–12 HSC support. For senior subjects, name the exact course: Mathematics Standard, Advanced or Extension, English, Biology, Chemistry or Physics. Course experience and availability are checked with the tutor.
Local lessons or online tutoring
Share your postcode and preferred meeting arrangement for in-person tutoring. Chatswood and nearby North Shore enquiries include Artarmon, Willoughby, Roseville, Lane Cove, Lindfield and St Leonards. A listing does not guarantee a tutor can travel to every suburb; online support is available to request across Sydney.
Clear session pricing
Standard one-to-one tutoring is A$32.50 for 30 minutes or A$65 for one hour. There is no lock-in contract. Check session arrangements and booking terms before paying. Group, university-level and youth-class requests are discussed separately by phone.
How to choose your tutor
Compare subject and year-level experience, qualifications, teaching approach and available times. TutorSmart checks marketplace eligibility and completed onboarding before matching. Suitable tutors can express interest; you choose your tutor and use in-house messages to discuss your learning goals. No particular grade or examination result is guaranteed.
